100 Prints Project #37 - Isaac

Isaac has quickly become one of my favorite subjects in the world to photograph.  This one was taken a few weeks ago when he was visiting us in the office with his dad.  I like how his ear and a few strands of hair are in focus and the rest of his face has a dreamy quality.

I apologize for my long absence here.  For some reason the blogger upload process has stopped recognizing anything but small, 8 bit jpegs which is problematic for me and doesn't bode well for the quality of some of the images.  I can't seem to get back to the global settings which would let me change it so I can use the old uploader.  Thanks for your patience.  Hope you are all well.

100 Prints Project #36 - Calf Roping

Taken in Effe, Minnesota at their annual rodeo.  Taken on black and white film with some minor tweaking in Nik Silver Efex Pro 2, which is where I added the border.

100 Prints Project #35 - Rose Petals

Taken on black and white film with my 100 macro at f2.8.  I am drawn to the shadows and the feeling of sensuality - mysterious and maybe even a little mistress like.  For the first time in a long time, I am realizing how much I miss macro photography.  I may have to start that again.  Something for me to think about.

100 Prints Project #33 - Grant

I'm kind of in a non-creative slump these days.  I think it happens to all of us creative souls from time to time and I'm sure it will pass this time too.  In my travels through my unworked photo files, I came across this one and something kept calling me back to it.  It's not your average baby picture I guess.  This is one of my twin nephews, Grant.  I loved the way his eyebrow and eyelashes are in focus and the rest of him kind of falls off.  I guess it's a "Jane baby picture".  I hope you like it.
