100 Prints Project #24 - Wet Concrete

Taken in downtown Minneapolis on a rainy evening while I was waiting for the bus. I loved the combination of the texture and the shadows. I intentionally chose a very shallow depth of field and focused on a small area that had a bit more interesting texture than some of the rest of the stone. Hope you like it.


  1. I think what I like best about this image, is that your shallow dof leaves some ambiguity. It looks as much like ice as water. I like that it could be different things... gives my mind lots of room to play as I look at it.
