I've only been to the true prairie a couple of times in my life. If the prairie is a place that touches you, it's not a place that you can easily forget. I have a few favorite images from my first prairie encounter that I'll share over the next couple of weeks. This one was taken during a Minnesota Roadtrip workshop through ColdSnap photography. I have several different versions of this scene. This is the one that bubbled to the top tonight.
Taken during a fall workshop on the top of Oberg Mountain near Lutsen. Fall is without a doubt my favorite time of year. I love the cool misty or rainy days and the diffused light and saturated colors they bring. Tomorrow's macro Monday shot will also feature an image from Oberg.
